Terms of Service
Last updated 29 August 2026
Draft. The company details in this document are not yet confirmed, so it does not bind anyone. If you are considering buying Ponte and need the final terms first, write to hello@ponte.events.
Who this is between
These terms are between Ponte LLC (“Ponte”, “we”) and the person who creates an event (“you”, the “host”). Guests you invite are not party to this agreement; their use is covered by the Privacy Policy.
What Ponte does
Ponte gives you a private website and app for a multi-day event: a schedule, a guest list, an arrivals board, a map, shared photos, guest-made plans and an AI concierge that answers guests’ questions from what you have entered. Guests reach it by a link and do not install anything or create a password.
What it costs
Ponte is a flat monthly subscription. There are no size bands and no per-guest charge: an event with two hundred guests costs the same as one with twenty. The current price is shown on the pricing page and on your billing screen before you are charged anything.
The first fourteen days are free. We take your card details at signup and charge nothing that day. If you do nothing, the first payment is taken when the trial ends, and then once a month after that.
There is a three-month minimum. If your wedding is sooner than that, the subscription still runs for three months. This is stated on the pricing page before you buy, and your billing screen shows the total.
It ends by itself. Billing stops thirty days after your wedding date, or at the end of the three-month minimum if that is later. You do not have to cancel and there is nothing to remember. If you change your wedding date in the app, the end date moves with it — including later, which means more months.
If a payment fails we will tell you and retry. While a payment is outstanding your planning tools are paused; your guests keep their access to the site, because they did not fail to pay for anything. Replace the card and it resumes.
We may change the price. An existing subscription keeps the price you signed up at for as long as it runs.
Stopping early. During the free trial you can walk away having paid nothing — cancel before it ends and no charge is ever made. After that, the three-month minimum is what you agreed to, so cancelling early ends your access at the end of the month you have paid for and you are not billed again. We do not bill you for months you never reached. If your event is called off entirely, write to us — see the refund policy.
Gifts your guests send you
You can list ways for guests to send you money — a registry link, a payment handle, or bank details. Ponte never receives, holds, transmits or has any access to that money. We display what you enter. Everything else happens between your guest and whichever service you named, under that service’s own terms.
This means the details are yours to get right. If you enter the wrong handle or the wrong account number, the money goes wherever you sent it and we cannot recover it, reverse it, or tell you it happened. We check that an account number is well-formed — not that it is yours.
Bank details are shown only to guests who have signed in with your invitation. They are never published on a public event page, and we will not make them public at your request: an account number a stranger can read is how the commonest fraud against couples begins.
Your content and your guests
What you and your guests put into Ponte — names, photos, schedules, travel details — remains yours. We store and process it in order to run your event, and for no other purpose. We do not sell it, and we do not use it to train models.
You are responsible for having a reason to hold your guests’ details, and for what you write to them through Ponte. You must not use Ponte to send unsolicited messages to people who have not agreed to hear from you.
Availability
We work to keep Ponte available, particularly during your event, but we do not promise uninterrupted service and we do not offer a service-level guarantee. Where Ponte depends on third parties — maps, flight data, email delivery — an outage there can affect what you see.
Liability
Ponte is a tool for coordinating an event. It is not responsible for the event itself, for arrangements you make with venues or vendors, or for travel. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to what you paid us for the event in question.
Ending your account
We may suspend or end an account that is used to break these terms, to harm guests, or unlawfully. If we do that outside of your fault, we refund what you paid for the affected event.
Changes
If we change these terms materially we will tell hosts with an active event by email before the change takes effect. The version in force for your event is the one you accepted when you signed up.
